I can’t even deal with the fact that Tito isn’t with the Sox anymore. Maybe he did feel as though it was time to get out of Boston, but I doubt he wanted to call it quits a month ago when we were nine games up in the playoff race.
Regardless, it’s just not okay that people are making him the scapegoat for what happened here. He rebuilt this team, he brought us two championships, and you just can not blame him for what happened.
He just deserves so much better, and I hope all of these fucking asshole players/ownership feel like shit for letting him down. If I was trying to work with guys that were drinking beer during games, I’d probably want out of there too though. It’s not a frat house, that’s their fucking job. I’m actually really surprised to hear that Jon Lester was (possibly) a part of the fuckery. Used to have so much respect for that guy. If things were really that out of control in the clubhouse, I can’t blame him for wanting out. It’s really too bad they didn’t have his back, because he always seemed to have everyone elses.
Big thank you to Francona for the past 8 years. Two amazing championship seasons that I’ll never forget. Hope he gets a few more rings with whatever team he ends up with.
Boston sports would never be what they are today without #47.

He’s so amazing.
Boob grab on the NESN broadcast.
Music is a huge part of the Boston Red Sox - have you ever wondered what’s playing while you’re screaming? The list is literally about 24724394830 pages long so I’m gonna slap a “read more” on this baby. It’s all Red Sox batters walk-up music, pitcher enterance music, and various songs played after things happen at Fenway. It’s kinda cool stuff, so check it out.

I worked on a story about baseball fans for Bundle, and my friend Val whipped up this awesome graphic for me.
